Featured Photos: Matisyahu at SxSW, Austin TX - March 19, 2005

Fresh from a pleasure trip to Jamaica where he recorded with masters Sly & Robbie, Matisyahu [ ] is polishing his chops for a vast north American tour. To date, the reggae star has set-aside 38 shows for this fall/winter.

Matisyahu plans to preview a few new songs during the outing, so the comparatively intimate confines of clubs and theaters should give him the feedback he needs for the thoughtful selection of the new album's last few tunes.

The Grammy-nominated creative person has said he considers his music career a revolutionary way to channel his spiritual calling. He's managed to bring both Orthodox Judaism and reggae and hip-hop together--with a mission of "peace and unity."

V Festival - Delays Reveal Single Hooray Is About Ocd

Delays feature explained that their hit single Hooray is actually about obsessive compulsive upset (OCD).

The joyous April liberation, which previewed the band's third album Everything's The Rush, is laden with happy string section and an energetic scramble but is actually about a debilitating condition, frontman Greg Gilbert revealed.

Speaking to inthenews.co.uk at the V festival in Chelmsford, Gilbert explained that the precondition had "really f****d up some relationships in my life".

"It was taking me about an hour and a half to go to bed every night, because of checking light switches etc, and if I felt like I hadn't done it the right way, I'd ingest to come back and do it again," he continued.

"It got to the point where I'd experience to say definitively: 'Done!' Mentally, I was putting a tag on everything."

He added: "I'd have this thing of looking at a light switch and seeing it was turned, but non being confident of it and like I say in the song 'I'm a garbage man tonight and I just don't believe my eyes'.

"I'd go outside and feel like I had to pluck up the crisp packets outside my house earlier I could go to bed!"

The Southampton-based singer revealed he had studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in a bid to combat his OCD merely said he continues to have a "dosey-doe effect" with the disorder.

Delays' newfangled single Keep it Simple is out now.

Not to be disoriented with the similarly named Phoenix screamo turnout blessthefall, Bless the Fallen is an abrasive alloy sixer out of Poughkeepsie, NY. Comprised of vocaliser Mikey, guitar player Kyle Benson, bassist Nick, guitarist/vocalist Kyle Doobie and drummer Phil, the guys number one recorded and self-released the EP So Dark the Crown of Man. A look at with Crash Music followed in front the band was even unitedly deuce whole days. Bless the Fallen's subsequent full-length, The Eclectic Sounds of a City Painted Black and White, was then released in August 2007.

Growing up in Melbourne, Australia during the '80s, Sean Bowley listened to '60s psychedelic john Rock and gradually grew concerned in neo-psychedelics like Echo & the Bunnymen and other British indie bands. He formed All Things Unseen with trey friends, simply afterward that isthmus stone-broke up in 1989, Bowley began playacting as Eden with Pieter Bourke (world Health Organization later united Dead Can Dance). Other bandmembers were bit by bit added, including bassist Steven Wattie, guitarist Chris Collins, dummer Raju Sharma and keyboard histrion Talie Helene.


Eden's kickoff record, the EP Light Between Worlds, appeared on Nightshift Records in 1990. The band sign with Third Mind in 1992 and released Gateway to the Mysteries. Attention from the BBC's John Peel earned Eden a allot with American label Projekt, which signed them and released the Healingbow EP in 1993. Eden's second album Blast and Rain appeared in 1995, and the band recorded material for Midnight Sun in former 1996.
